Roger Goodell Plans To Retire…When His Contract Ends In 2024

Last week, Roger Goodell broke the hearts of NFL fans everywhere after he signed a signed a contract extension to remain the commissioner of the NFL. It was a five-year contract extension that would take him to the 2024 NFL season.

After that, however, Goodell plans on hanging up his suit and suspensions and retire from the league, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

What isn’t clear at this point is who is actually in the running to be the next NFL commissioner as I’m sure Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones will be highly involved with the process.
